السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
هذه التدوينة بتصير بالانجليزي لأن كل الكتب إلي فيها انجليزية
Hello world, welcome back to my blog. If this is your first time here, welcome ! I hope you like it here. In today's blogpost (which is going to be an english one, since all the books included are english) my sister will be guessing the synopsis of each book I show her.
My sister isn't a reader, as in she barely has any interest in picking up a book, and all she knows are the books that were turned into movies. Which will change inshalla just wait while I unleash my non-reader conversion methods lol.
But while she is in that state, I decided to take advantage of her reader status and quiz her on book synopsi (is that the word for a collection of synopsis-es?) , here are the results.
Red Queen and King's Cage by Victoria Aveyard
"Its about a queen, she is married to a king who leaves her. The "red" part of the title is an indication of her anger, because she became red with rage and anger when the king left her. But then she discovers she doesn't need a man and returns to being her normal shade of white"
In the same moment, I had just come back from the bookstore with various books I bought, one of them being King's Cage, the third book in the series (by the way, I didn't read the first book. I just like having the full series so I can marathon it) so when she saw it she decided to comment on it. And I told her it was book 3 when she asked.
"So the third book, King's Cage, is kinda like a batman revenge tale on the king"

Every Last Word by Tamara Ireland Stone
"About a girl who commits suicide, and that's her suicide note or will or whatever its called"
"Lol, why doesn't it sound like its copying 13 Reasons Why? Why's everyone copying it?"
"Oh, and her last words are silence"

And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie
"Who's the author?"
"Agatha Christie"
"Then its about a murder"
"Well done Sherlock Holmes (sarcastic if you couldn't tell) , I wanted the premise!"
"A murder in cabin, but not a predictable or generic one. A real good one. They get killed one by one basing it on a jingle, like the five little monkeys jumping on the bed and each time a monkey falls and gets 'eliminated' . But the people in the cabin's elimination is death, so five little monkeys i.e. five people get killed one by one until nobody's left"
"That's actually pretty spot on"
"NO WAY! YES! I promise I didn't know it before hand"
And this is usually the part where the crime-obsessed side of me would've gone OMG , but this isn't a time for that.. Let's proceed.

A Cuckoo's Calling by Robert Galibraith
"This'll get real metaphorical, but hear me out. It's about a guy who finds his passion in life, hence what is calling him"
"The author is JK Rowling btw"
She looks at the author's name, Robert Galbraith with confusion.
"It's a pseudonym"
"Still it doesn't change the premise, expect that wizards will be involved"

Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas
"It's about a vampiress"
"A what?"
"Vampiress, a girl vampire"
"Who even says that?"
"Proper English, like how a female actor is an actress, a female vampire should be a vampiress"
"Whatever, continue"
"So its about a vampiress who doesn't want werewolves to exist because they are a threat to vampires, so this book is about her quest to kill the werewolves"
"Its a series, 6 books"
"The whole series is about her trying to kill all the werewolves"

A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas
"Court, thorn, what's the title?"
"A Court of Thorns and Roses"
"Why is the design complicated? I can't read the title"
I shrug, but I do like the Court of Thorns and Roses covers.
"So its about someone from the same species Poison Ivy (the character not the plant) is from"

"Ok..?"
"Her name is Ivee, with double es not a y.
And this Ivee meets a boy named Noaa, double as not a h. They meet in high school and become friends, yet Ivee is skeptical about Noaa's species.
Tifanee (yes, with double es) , she's Ivee's friend, discovers Ivee's powers, then they try to devise something to figure out if Noaa has powers. Along the way they discover Tifanee has powers too, her powers are mind reading and such.
What they saw will blow your mind.
Find out when you read the book."
Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell
"About a girl who likes someone named Dustin Heeber, a parody of Justin Bieber, he's "the best celebrity to ever live" and obviously the main character is Heelieber, like JB's beliebers.
When Dustin goes down hill the book's heroine, her name is Brenda, wrote this book as a message to fellow fangirls to stick with their idols at tough times.
If Brenda can do it, so can you.
So metaphorical 10/10 would recommend"
In case you couldn't tell, my sister is quite sarcastic.
And that's a wrap on my non-reader sister guessing what the hell my books are about, from solely their covers of course. It was funny and fun, plus I may have gained some motivation to make some form of this with my other sister, let me know if you'd like to see that. Until next time..
