السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته

Hello everybody! Welcome back. Hope you all have been doing well <3.

Today is a day where I'll be unboxing another box from the lovely people at ArtBox, and to clarify before I get into the box I am not sponsored by ArtBox nor have they asked me to talk about their service. I pay for my subscription and none of the boxes I showed on my blog where given to me for free, its simply a wonderful service I like to support, and it rightfully deserves all of our support. I needed to clarify that because loads of mixed signals have been sent.

اليوم هو اليوم إلي بنفتح صندوق ثاني من آرت بوكس ، وبس تنويه قبل لا أبدأ بأني أقول ولا وحدة من التدوينات كانت دعاية (وهذه منهم) ولا هم قالوا لي اتكلم عن خدمتهم وولا واحد من الصناديق وصلني ببلاش، أنا أدفع اشتراكي للخدمة وهي خدمة تجنن وتستحق دعم الكل.

For the fledglings in the field, ArtBox is a monthly subscription service aiming to deliver new and connected art supplies every month, "connected" as in every month has a theme that.. well.. connects the supplies provided. The theme for the month of june is "doodle on the go" , I would've said urban sketching but I thought this was more focused on being on the go rather than travel. Even though I do label myself as a casual urban sketcher and most of my drawing is done on the go in my city.

وللجداد هنا، آرت بوكس أو الصندوق الفني هي خدمة اشتراك شهرية تهدف إنها توفر لك أدوات فنية جديدة ، وترتبط هالأدوات بموضوع معين كل شهر. وموضوع شهر جون هو الرسم للناس دائمي الحركة ، يعني للي ما عندهم وقت كثير يقعدون فيه ويرسمون فالأدوات المتوفرة في الصندوق هذا إن شاء الله تساعدهم يمارسون هوايتهم رغم انشغالهم. كنت بسمي الموضوع أربن سكيتشنق بس هذا الصندوق حسيته أكثر للفنانين المشغولين من الفنانين المسافرين ، مع إنه أحس إني أمارس هالنوع من الرسم رغم إنه أغلب رسمي يكون في مدينتي.

Lets unbox this baby, shall we?

يلا نفتح الصندوق..

The first thing in this box is this pen roll, or roll-up pencil case. I always see artists have something like this on hand when they take their art supplies outside their artistic sanctuary (for me, its my cozy room), and for a student whose freshman year at University is fast approaching it couldn't have come at a better time.

Its from the brand Zodaca Twilight, and its actually a makeup brush roll. But its sturdy and the fact that its originally a brush roll helps further protect my precious stationary inside.

أول شي بالصندوق هي المقلمة إلي تنلف ، دايم أشوفها عند الفنانين ويستعلمونها لما يطلعون برا ساحة العمل (في حالتي ، غرفتي) عشان يحطون فيها الأدوات وما إلى ذلك، وكوني طالبة مقبلة على الجامعة وبكون خارج "ساحة العمل" كثير توقيتها كان مناسب.

وكونها رول فرش ، والفرش ينخاف عليها أكثر، فإن شاء الله ما في خوفة على إلي أقوى منها ألا وهي الأدوات المكتبية والفنية

Wait, there's more! ArtBox included some handy dandy art supplies inside. The first of which (and second in the supply countdown) is the TomBow-9800 HB pencil, never heard of the brand prior to this but I'm always in need of pencils (artistically) , thank you ArtBox for that. I think its an excellent choice choosing HB over the other grades of graphite because it is a happy medium between hard and bold graphite, good for casual sketching and doodling.

بس لسا فيه زيادة! آرت بوكس حطوا في المقلمة أدوات فنية. أولهم (وثاني شي من أدوات الصندوق) هو قلم اتش بي من ماركة تومبو-9800. ما عمري سمعت بها قبل هالصندوق بس أنا دايم بنقص من ناحية أقلام الرصاص (فنيًا). الله يعطيكم العافية على هذا بس الشي إلي مرة أهنئهم عليه هو اختيارهم لدرجة اتش بي من الرصاص فوق باقي الدرجات. لأنه وسط بين اتش إلي معناها هارد أو رصاص قاسي وبي إلي هو بولد أو رصاص قوي. حلوة هالدرجة للسكتشات السريعة والشخابيط والخربشات.

Next are these TouchNew sketch markers, now I marveled over copics for the longest time though being someone who has favored other mediums , it wasn't on my list to get some of them .. Well at least not the colorful ones as I do use grey ones (promarkers) and love them. These are similar to copics as they are sketch markers so I was quite excited when I saw them. Yet when I took a look at the tips of the marker, one being chiseled and the other is a fine tip, they remind me a lot of the tips of the pro marker.

. The colors are completely out of my comfort zone in terms of markers, but not everything has to be. I am looking forward to using these in future pieces.

الشي الثاني هي السكيتش ماركرز ، وهي شبيهة بالكوبكس. الكوبكس أقلام مرة تحمسني بس أنا شخص فضل وسائط ثانية على الماركرز فما كان أبد في الخطة إني اشتري منهم، على الأقل مو من الملونات لأن عندي ماركرز (من ماركة بروماركر) رمادية وأحبها. السكتش ماركرز إلي هنا زي ما قلت لكم مب ماركة كوبكس بس لأن الكوبكس سكتش ماركر حبيت أسهل المسمى لكم. في جهة مشطوفة وجهة صغيرة ، ومن هالناحية تشبه البروماركر لأنه الكوبكس في أحد الجهات يكون فرشة. بس مرة متحمسة أجرب ألوان خارج المعتاد بالنسبة لي وفي شكل حمسني لوقت طويل.

Then comes the light green sharpie, now I do wish a fineliner was in place of the sharpie. But I do see how helpful a sharpie can be on the go, plus with the color being unusual its going to be interesting to see what creations stem from its inclusion.

وبعدها الماركر الأخضر من ماركة شارپي ، حسّيت قلم زي المايكرون ممكن يناسب هالمجموعة أفضل. لكن أشوف عملية القلم هذا خصوصًا وإنه موضوع هالشهر يناسب الناس المشغولين ، ولونه الغريب يحمسني اشوف وش الإبداعات الي ممكن تنتج من وجوده هنا.

And the final thing that's in the set is this mini sketchbook from the brand Legion, and it's the Stonehenge aqua cold press sketchbook. Judging by the texture and the text on the cover it seems ideal for watercolor, it's also good for little doodles and concept sketches on the go, or even proper sketches if you're feeling it! Though I felt the former idea was more me in this size.

I am head over heels this is so cute and amazing quality.

وآخر شي في المجموعة هي هذه الكراسة الصغيرة من ماركة ليجون، وهي كراسة أوراقها مضغوطة ضغط بارد ومن إليّ فهمته من الكلام على الكراسة إنها تناسب الألوان المائية وحتى لما تلمسونها ملمسها مرة يدل على إنهم حطوا فنانين الألوان المائية برأسهم وجودتها مرة حلوة. لطيفة ومرة تناسب لما تجيكم فكرة وتبون ترسمونها رسم سريع أو حتى لو ودكم رسم مرتب بس حسّيت الحجم هذا ناسب الفكرة الاولى اكثر. مرة أعجبت فيه

We're done with the roll, now it's time for the other part of the box which is this coloring book that's made by doodlebyabdul, who is the artist of the month. He has made a couple contributions to this month's box, one of which is this book.

To my knowledge, this is a handmade coloring book. And that alone makes me applaud him for the effort. I flipped through it and all the pages are very beautiful, it really showcases how doodling is natural yet unique to each artist. Support a local artist if you can get your hands on this beauty (which I think is available in the Artbox pop up shop)

وبعد ما انتهينا من المقلمة اللطيفة نجي لهذا الشي الجميل، وهو

دفتر تلوين من فنان الشهر عبدالمحسن. وهو ساهم بأكثر من شي بهذا الصندوق، أولهم هذا الدفتر. وبحد علمي هذا الدفتر صنع يد، وهالمعلومة لحالها تخليني أعجب بهالدفتر. ومن خلال تصفحي فيه شفت انه كل صفحة أحلى من الثانية، جميلين مرة ما شاء الله. صدق الدودلز طبيعية بالرسم بس كل رسّام يطلع دودلز أو شخابيط فريدة من نوعها. إذا تقدرون ، ادعموا فنان سعودي باقتناءكم لمنتجه الجميل هذا. (واعتقد انه موجود في متجر آرت بوكس)

And of course we can't forget the gratitude sticker included in every box, which features doodlebyabdul as I mentioned in the paragraph preceding this one.

ولا نقدر ننسى ملصق فنان الشهر الموجود في كل صندوق، وهالمرة طبعًا عمل عبدالمحسن عليها.
