My Harry Potter Collection

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته

.لأن الكتاب إلي بتكلم عنه ، ألا وهو هاري بوتر، انجليزي فالتدوينة بتصير بالانجليزي.

It's no secret that I'm a massive potterhead. My social media accounts vouch for that, and my almost 11 years of obsession does so too. Yet my collection won't seem like it. My collection is small for a long-time fan, and I don't own the books (kill me I know)
Nevertheless I love every single part of it and I'm so thankful to God for it.. And hopefully, its not stopping here.
Without further ado, here is what I own as of late.

//The Harry Potter Audiobooks, Narrated by Stephen Fry//

As I've stated, I don't own the books. But I do have the audiobooks which I have been listening to for the past couple of months. And they are nothing short of magical. They were easier for me to attain so that's why I went for them instead of buying the books. And one part of the excuse that made me not buy the books.
Stephen Fry, while I'm not a fan of the person himself, brings the book to life in such a beautiful way, it is like watching the movie in your head.
I do rate (all of them are 5 stars, sorry but how can you demote Harry Potter?) and review each book on my GoodReads, so if you want to see what I think of each one check my page out.

// The Cursed Child Script Book by J.K.Rowling, John Tiffany, and Jack Thorne //

Before I say anything, don't talk to me about this.. Not even the synopsis I want to go into this blind. I am, as you're reading this, half way through the 6th book. So I have one more to go until I'll read this. I am so excited to read it. This won't be my first script book, I am familiar with this format as I've previously read a Shakespeare script or two for school. I do like that format oddly enough, so I hope a Harry Potter one won't disappoint.
You can find it in Jarir.

//Gryffindor Robe//

I am a Ravenclaw, but I bought this back in the 5th grade for a Harry Potter costume, and conveniently I used this to dress up as him again for another costume party a few months ago. To answer your question, yes it still fits. Despite it being a bit shorter at the ends and sleeves, it still is a good fit.
Speaking about the costume, it didn't take much effort. My glasses resembles his own pair and the black and messy hair I am born with is the perfect icing on the cake.
I am more of a Hermione, but I look nothing like her, I am barely Harry yet I look fairly like him (or so I'd like to think and/or I'm told).
I got this from Amazon.

//Harry Potter Platform 9 3/4 Backpack//

I use this backpack for school (seventh year of Hogwarts guys! Still no letter though). I am no fan of character memorabilia, the one where they stick a character's face onto the product, so when I found this backpack with one of my favourite designs from that world (The Platform 9 3/4 design and) I knew I had to get it. It has the train ticket attached to the zipper of the front pocket, along with a lovely shade of red all around the backpack. It is roomy and well made. It happens to have a large pocket within the main part of the bag, which is handy for organising. Although "organised" is not the correct term to describe the chaos that is my school backpack, I'll spare you the gory details.
A simplistic and gorgeous bag, it is a little detail that makes school a bit more joyful.
I got this from Hot Topic.

//Ravenclaw Patch//

This was my first piece of house-related merch, and I was beyond excited when I received it from my wonderful sister. I had in mind an idea of getting a suitable cardigan and ironing it on that, but now I'm not so sure. Do I? Or Do I not?
One thing I noticed is that this is the film version of the Ravenclaw crest, as in the books (and Pottermore) its an Eagle. Nevertheless I love it to bits and pieces and couldn't be more grateful to my sister.
And if you're curious it currently resides on my bookshelf, until I find a better place.
This was also from Hot Topic.

//Ravenclaw Earpods//

My second piece of house pride is in the shape of earpods.
They function super well, I have had them for a good 6 months now and they're going strong. Not to mention they look really nice.
I love listening to my HP audiobooks with them (bet you didn't see that coming). Although I have to admit I don't use them much, unless I'm out.
Again, this was from Hot Topic. Thanks mother for your purchase.

//Harry Potter Coloring Book//

This [coloring] book! It has a strong nostalgic feel for someone who has been a Harry Potter fan for so long, it has scenes from each movie to color. From Harry and Ron's flying car adventure in Chamber of Secrets to Dumbledore's Army in Order of The Phoenix. There also fun patterns and prints, in addition to the house crests (including Beauxbatons, even though its not a "house crest"). I love the order its put in, as it adds to that nostalgic and memorable vibe.
I colored in some of the scarf/glasses/lightning bolt page (in Ravenclaw colors of course, and I tried making the bolt as scar-like as possible but I'm still in the process of adjusting it)

I have double copies of this book, I got one and my friend got me one. So now I'm rid of the creative fear thankfully, I was afraid to mess up prior but now I can go wild and still know I have another go at that page if I wanted.
You can find this coloring book, and most of the other editions (I really loved the places one as well) in Jarir.

//Harry Potter Coloring Kit//

I couldn't get enough of the Harry Potter coloring action. The difference between this one and the coloring book is that this one is printed on something similar to matte photo paper, its the size of a credit card (a bit smaller maybe?), and comes with magnetic frames and coloring pencils.
I struggled coloring the Ravenclaw print with the coloring pencils that came with the kit, I didn't like them at all and it took me a while to get any color payoff. I do suggest you use your own colors.
Despite that, I love the set. The cut of the cards is ideal for decorating a bookshelf or bulletin board or wherever your creative mind wanders.
I got this at Target, but you can find it at Virgin Megastores here.

//"Harry Potter Glasses"//

I debated whether I should or should not add my glasses to the collection, but as you can tell I decided to do so.
As a kid I didn't know anyone but myself wearing glasses, that was back in preschool or something,
and I despised them. Arguably, you can say Harry Potter made me like them. I even called mine the Harry Potter glasses as a kid, and lots of people told me I look like him (I do have black hair as well so it adds to that, you're probably sick of me mentioning this detail again).
Now I have attachment issues to them, I feel part of my identity is lost if I ever stop wearing them. They just fit my vibe and aesthetic.. Man do I love round frames!
The metal ones are my earliest pair of glasses, the black ones are my most recent pair. Both are prescription glasses, I have yet to experiment with fake frames.
I don't know what brand my old ones are (it was scraped off), but my recent ones are Raybans.

//Harry Potter Treats//

I decided to put them in one category because I felt there isn't much to say. Any witch or wizard is familiar with both these treats. But for the muggles, I'll explain.
 Bertie Botts Every Flavour Beans is basically a wild version of Bean-Boozled, this "edition" of the jelly beans is made by the same company that made Bean-Boozled. It is so much fun to eat, I almost never get any good flavours though. Among the worst is Vomit, that one is one that lives on and on for the rest of the day in your mouth. Don't read the back (unlike Bean Boozled, which has a united color for the good and bad of each flavor, Bertie Botts has a color for each flavor. So once you recognise them, its easy to ruin the mystery and fun of it) and be in for a treat.
Now the Chocolate Frog however was exciting for the character cards, I wanted to get Ollivander so bad (if you can even get him in this version of the chocolate frogs) but I am still happy with Pomona Sprout, underrated characters represent!
However the chocolate wasn't anything special, in fact it wasn't my favourite. I am thankful I got to try it.
Both of the treats can be found at Barnes and Nobles in America.

//Ollivander's Ivy Interactive Wand//

Now this is one of my most prized possessions. And evokes so much emotion in me just by looking at it.
I won't do the story justice writing about it or even telling it, I got picked for this wand in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Universal Studios Hollywood. In Ollivander's wand shop.
It was a surreal experience. I was speechless when he asked me for my name, sobbed rivers as I got to test the wands and found THE wand. It drew the biggest smile on my face when he told my family that I was a powerful witch. I never ever expected this to happen, it was always merely a dream. I feel tears of joy ready to flow just by writing this bit.
Oh, the core is Dragon Heartstring. As he told me (I just realised my wand is so similar to Hermione's! Knowledge and magic twins.)
 This may seem ridiculous to some, yet I can tell you this memory would conjure up my patronus in an instant (aka its a very happy memory).
Anyways, I also got to play with the wand around the park. Since this one is an interactive wand I can perform various spells around the park, one particular employee (who was so in character may I add, and that added to my experience. I applaud all those employees for making my time there even more magical with their wizarding commentary and dialogue) rescued me from my embarrassing wand waving in front of the Three Broomsticks, he said I was trying "to light the broomsticks on fire" and showed me the spell area. Did I mention I told him and everyone else that I was the chosen one?
Included with the wand was a map of Hogsmeade, the art on it was so beautifully done!
You can get this at Ollivander's Wand Shop at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, and you maybe can get it online? I am not sure,

So that is my current collection of wizarding items, It is an ever-growing garden of magic, and I couldn't be more appreciative and grateful to see my beloved imaginative universe come to life. This post was never meant to be a bragging one or meant to make anybody reading feel bad.
I just wanted to share my love for Harry Potter, as simple as that.
